The Governor of Madinah Region, Prince Salman bin Sultan, affirmed that AlUla has become a global civilizational jewel, attracting international attention as a unique cultural and heritage destination.
During an inspection visit to AlUla, Prince Salman emphasized that the remarkable transformation taking place represents an exceptional achievement, made possible through strong leadership support and continuous follow-up. He noted that AlUla’s growing global presence reflects its rich cultural and historical legacy.
The Governor explained that this transformation is a result of the vision and guidance of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, who firmly believes that AlUla’s heritage, spanning thousands of years, deserves to be shared with the world, showcasing the deep-rooted history of the Kingdom.
Prince Salman conveyed the greetings and appreciation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, praising the efforts of government entities and the Royal Commission for AlUla for their role in elevating the region’s status.
