Muscat, 21 December 2025 – The Royal Omani Air Force today inaugurated advanced military systems and equipment, reflecting ongoing efforts to modernize the Sultanate’s armed forces. The ceremony, held at Al-Murtfa’a Camp, was overseen by Major General Pilot Khamis bin Hamad Al-Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Omani Air Force.

The opening speech highlighted initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and elevate technical operations, emphasizing the commitment of the Engineering Support and Calibration Directorate, in coordination with the Communications and Information Technology Directorate, to adopt modern technological solutions that facilitate workflows and improve monitoring accuracy.

The program featured a visual presentation showcasing key equipment, devices, and laboratories within the Air Force.

Major General Al-Ghafri also inaugurated the “Isnad” electronic application, designed to strengthen technical readiness and support operational plans in line with Oman Vision 2040, alongside unveiling the new visual identity for transport buses and specialized vehicles of the Air Force.

The ceremony concluded with a tour of the accompanying exhibition, where attendees reviewed the latest advanced equipment and systems recently added to the Royal Omani Air Force.
