Muscat, December 21, 2025 – The Omani capital is gearing up for "Muscat Nights 2026," running from January 1 to 31, presenting a comprehensive winter season that blends entertainment, culture, arts, and sports into a vibrant urban experience across the Muscat Governorate.
Events will take place at multiple locations including Al Qurum Natural Park, Al Amerat Park, the Oman Automobile Association, the Royal Opera House Muscat, Seeb Beach, Wadi Al Khuw, and Quriyat, as well as major shopping centers, providing visitors with diverse experiences across varied urban settings.
The symbolic character "Siraj" will guide visitors through a visual and narrative journey, representing a luminous Omani child exploring the city, serving as a central attraction for families and tourists.
Highlights include the Symphony of Fountains and Light at Al Qurum Park, transforming the lake into an open-air stage with water fountain displays synchronized with music and lighting. Muscat Nights Circus will offer daily performances featuring acrobatics, aerial arts, sleight of hand, and hologram technology for immersive 3D experiences.
Children’s areas offer interactive educational experiences in astronomy, arts, and crafts, alongside drone shows and family-friendly performances like "Masha and the Bear," fostering fun, creativity, and learning.
The program also includes carnivals, family rides, daily parades, and cultural, artistic, and musical evenings, creating a lively rhythm throughout the season.
Sports activities encompass cycling races, endurance challenges, shooting, martial arts, friendly football matches, bowling, billiards, and 3×3 basketball tournaments, with participation from local and international teams. Youth-focused activities feature drifting car shows, outdoor adventure challenges, beach football and volleyball tournaments, and motorcycle exhibitions to promote traffic safety and technical skills.
The Heritage Village highlights traditional Omani crafts, folklore, and local cuisine, while Design Week showcases creativity, urban beauty, and sustainability. The Royal Opera House Muscat will host Fashion Week, presenting innovative designs that combine cultural identity with global trends.
