The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has announced the revocation of the license of "Oud Al Reem Recruitment Office for Domestic Workers" in Ajman after identifying serious violations, based on governance and field inspection reports. The decision reflects the ministry’s ongoing monitoring and complaint management system for domestic worker recruitment offices.
The ministry confirmed that legal actions have been taken against the office, notifying relevant local authorities to take the necessary measures. The office is required to regularize the status of its domestic workers and pay fines resulting from its violations.
The ministry urged all clients to engage only with licensed and accredited offices, available on the official website www.mohre.gov.ae, to avoid legal, health, and safety risks associated with unlicensed operators. It also reaffirmed its commitment to address complaints promptly, ensuring a well-regulated and competitive domestic worker recruitment market.
The ministry highlighted that most recruitment offices comply with the laws and regulations, contributing to sustainable economic growth, safe working environments, and the integration of domestic worker services into smart e-services to enhance efficiency and adherence to humanitarian standards.
According to ministry data, 37 recruitment offices were found in violation of domestic worker regulations during the first half of 2025, accumulating a total of 107 violations. The ministry continues to monitor and inspect offices to ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
