Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Visits “Muharraq Nights” Festival with Foreign Ambassadors


Manama – December 21, 2025: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, visited the “Muharraq Nights” Festival today accompanied by the accredited foreign ambassadors to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The delegation included Ambassador Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations, Ambassador Rami Saleh, and Rakad Al-Adwan, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, alongside several ministry officials.

During the visit, the delegation toured historic houses, the Qaisariya Souq, and the Pearl Museum, witnessing the festival’s rich cultural programs, traditional arts, and heritage sites that reflect Muharraq’s history and Bahrain’s national cultural identity.

Minister Al Zayani praised the efforts of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities for organizing the festival, highlighting its role in promoting tourism for visitors from GCC countries and residents alike.

He also commended the restoration of historic houses and the museum exhibits, which showcase Bahrain’s cultural legacy and traditional industries, including the pearl trade, demonstrating the dedication and resilience of the Bahraini people.

The visiting ambassadors expressed their admiration for the festival’s diverse activities and cultural offerings, appreciating Bahrain’s commitment to preserving its heritage and promoting tourism, and wished the Kingdom continued growth and prosperity.
