Manama, December 21, 2025 – Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al-Naemi, Minister of Information of Bahrain, met with His Excellency Abdulrahman Badah Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs of Kuwait, to discuss avenues for strengthening bilateral media and cultural cooperation.
Minister Al-Naemi emphasized the strong fraternal ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, rooted in historical bonds and solid foundations of collaboration and integration. He highlighted the high-level attention and royal patronage this partnership enjoys from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of Kuwait.
The meeting reviewed opportunities to develop joint media work, exchange experiences, and enhance professional media missions, while boosting presence at regional and international levels. Discussions also covered shared interests, current media developments, challenges, and ways to strengthen Gulf media coordination in line with rapid industry transformations.
During the visit, the Kuwaiti Minister, accompanied by Minister Al-Naemi and other officials, toured the Bahrain Ministry of Information complex, including the National Contact Center, the main news studio, and Bahrain Radio headquarters.
His Excellency expressed appreciation for the warm reception, praising Bahrain's significant progress in the media sector and its active efforts to promote Gulf media collaboration, serving the broader interests of GCC countries.
