Manama – December 21, 2025:
H.E. Mr. Nawaf bin Mohammed Al-Maawadah, Minister of Justice and Islamic Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Riyadh Youssef Hamza, President of the Royal Girls University, signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at strengthening academic and professional collaboration in legal studies and professional training.
The Minister emphasized that this partnership is a key step to support legal and professional development programs, highlighting the Ministry’s commitment to continuing collaboration with national academic institutions to equip national legal professionals with modern skills aligned with judicial and legal requirements.
Professor Hamza expressed the University’s pride in signing the memorandum, underlining its commitment to enhancing legal education, exchanging academic and professional expertise, and preparing qualified legal personnel capable of keeping pace with rapid developments in the legal field.
Dr. Riyadh Mohammed Sayadi, Director of the Institute of Judicial and Legal Studies, noted that the memorandum represents a strategic step to connect practical and academic aspects, develop specialized training programs, and meet the evolving needs of the legal sector in line with national justice system objectives.
The cooperation includes exchanging academic and practical expertise in legal education and training, designing and implementing specialized training programs, organizing joint events and conferences, and leveraging the University’s experience in digital transformation, information technology, and academic accreditation, aiming to enhance the skills and capabilities of national legal professionals.
